Ralphie May, the exceptional humorist who turned a moment put complete on Last Comic Standing into an effective profession in drama, died Friday in Las Vegas. He was 45.
May died of cardiac arrest following a concise fight with pneumonia, Variety reports. In September, May crossed out a series of dates from his Unruly stand-up visit because of ailment.
“We are devastated to report the awkward passing of our companion, Ralphie May. Ralphie had been engaging pneumonia and had wiped out a modest bunch of dates in the course of the most recent month with an end goal to recuperate.
Prior at the beginning of today at a private home in Las Vegas his body was found, reason for death is cardiac arrest,” the humorist’s rep said in an announcement posted on Facebook.
